BIOMASS PELLET MACHINE FOR WET RAW MATERIAL
There is no need for drying, as raw materials with high moisture content can be directly processed into pellets, significantly reducing investment costs.
BIOMASS PELLET MILL FOR WET RAW MATERIAL
Skip the Drying, Cut Costs, and Pelletize Efficiently!
The high-moisture material pellet machine is specifically designed for processing wet materials with elevated moisture content. For many types of biomass, when the moisture level ranges between 20% and 40%, the materials can be directly pressed into pellets without the need for drying. This process does not compromise the pellet density or quality, while significantly reducing the biomass pellet production line’s footprint and overall investment costs.
WORKING PRINCIPLE OF WET RAW MATERIAL PELLET MACHINE
The wet raw material pellet machine is still classified as a ring die pellet machine, with modifications primarily made to the mold design. These changes extend the molding time of the raw materials within the pellet machine, allowing moisture to evaporate during the pressing and forming process, resulting in high-density biomass fuel pellets. While this eliminates the need for a separate drying step, the efficiency of the high-moisture material pellet machine is lower than that of a standard pellet machine, and its output is directly influenced by the moisture content of the raw materials.

BIOMASS PELLET PLANT FLOW CHART DRAWING FOR WET RAW MATERIAL
Compared to a complete biomass pellet production line, a production line utilizing the wet material pellet machine eliminates the need for a drum dryer. If the raw material is sawdust or similar, it only requires screening with a rotary screener to clean it before producing pellets. However, if the raw material size exceeds 10 mm, it typically needs to be crushed before pelletizing. The key distinction is the absence of a dryer in this production process.
Efficient Pelletizing Without Drying – The Next Level in Wet Material Processing!

Use customized heavy-duty reducer
The use of a customized reducer offers a simple structure, easy maintenance, efficient transmission, and a low failure rate, ensuring the stable operation of the pellet machine. The reducer’s gears are crafted from high-quality, wear-resistant steel components, ensuring a long service life.

Machine cover is designed with 304 stainless steel material, corrosion-resistant
The pellet machine cover is made from 304 stainless steel and features a sandblasted finish, making it ideal for high-temperature and high-humidity pellet molding environments. Its corrosion resistance significantly extends the service life compared to standard carbon steel designs.

Stainless steel shell, corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant
Special ring die for high-humidity materials can incorporate a dual compression ratio design, significantly enhancing the machine’s adaptability to varying moisture levels. This reduces the trial and error costs for customers when switching between different materials.

With industrial cooling fan to ensure the pellet mill continuous and stable operation.
The pellet machine’s lubrication system features a large industrial cooling fan, which maintains the lubricating oil at a low temperature during prolonged operation, ensuring the continuous and stable functioning of the pellet machine.
What types of raw materials are most suitable for a high-moisture pellet machine?
Based on our experience, high-moisture pellet machines are particularly effective for processing mixed materials, such as a combination of sawdust, crushed branches, leaves, and mixtures of hardwood and softwood. However, it is important to note that wet material pellet machines are not universally applicable; their molds must be customized to accommodate different raw materials and moisture content ranges. Therefore, we typically recommend customizing several molds with varying compression ratios when tailoring the machine. This approach provides customers with more options, especially when the moisture content of their raw materials varies significantly.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you offer only this model, or is there a smaller model available?
We only have this model and do not offer any smaller model for the time being.
My raw materials are sourced from suppliers, so I am unsure of their moisture content. Can I still use this pellet machine?
Yes, many of our customers encounter this issue. Please feel free to contact us, and we will guide you on how to obtain raw materials with more consistent moisture levels, helping to reduce your pellet production costs.
Will the pellets produced by the wet material pellet machine have a low density and fail to meet standards, or will they disintegrate after a period of storage?
No, there is no difference in density or storage stability between pellets produced by the wet material pellet machine and those produced by a conventional pellet machine. However, our pellet machine currently offers only a 10 mm size option, which may limit its suitability for certain pellet markets.
