How should you choose between a belt conveyor and a screw conveyor?
The two methods can both feed raw material. If your raw material is loose and light, like rice straw, alfalfa grass, plastic, etc., you can use the belt conveyor to prevent tangling. If your raw material is wood sawdust, etc., a heavy raw material, you can use the screw conveyors.

Our raw material is wood chips. If we want an output of 2.5t/h pellets, would one 160kw pellet machine be enough?
If your raw material is dry wooden chips, then you need to use the hammer mill first, and then use the pellet machine. If your raw material moisture content is more than 25%, then you need to use the hammer mill to crush first, then use the dryer, and the pellet machine.
I'm currently using sawdust. Is it feasible to switch to a different material later?
Sure, that’s no problem. If you want to change the raw material, the pellet mill ring die needs to be changed. Whether to add another machine is based on your raw materials’ conditions. You can tell us when you want to change the raw material, and we will provide the professional experience.
